Beautiful one-of-a-kind Doug Fir mantel comes from an early 1900's milking barn that had been located near Lester Prairie, Minnesota. After crafting, we applied a penetrating oil, which popped that character and old growth look and feel. Gorgeous for your rock, brick, tile, wood-backed or cultured stone fireplace build. It's a really rustic piece, roughed up by those cows - has nice knots, that rustic richness, cracks, nail holes, attractive mantel ends - and you get eight hanging choices. This authentic old growth piece is ready to ship and ready to mount.
