Harvestbilt Mantels offers authentic old growth wood barn beam mantels that come from very old barns and buildings. These are pieces that will be around for many generations. We do not sell new wood that is made to look old and weathered. We treat all our wood for insects, mold, larvae and fungus; kiln drying penetrates only so deep. Treating is a very important step and process that takes time and added expense; it’s our duty and the right thing to do - we respect our customers. Please don’t buy wood that has not been treated. We ship to the lower 48 states for FREE.

Please note: You are purchasing rescued and reclaimed wood that is very old. The mantels and wood items may have cracks, small and large knots, holes, insect trails and holes, wearing, uneven surfaces and sides, they may not be perfectly flat or straight due to cracking as they dried many years ago, may have embedded nails or spikes, may have cupping and surface lifting, may have open or filled mortise pockets, and may have wooden spikes and wooden nails. The stated dimensions in the item details/description are at the widest points, as in all reclaimed wood the dimensions may vary from end to end. We hope you will love and cherish the awesome characters for many many years - we never tire of this beautiful wood. Your mantel or reclaimed piece, because of lighting differences, may look different in your home compared to our photos. Reclaimed wood throws various darks and light color under different lighting and at different times of the day; that's one of the best things about the wood; never gets boring. We try to show the coloration, shades and details in their most natural state. We clean and sand all the mantels and wood items, then high pressure air spray the cracks, the ends, and holes as best possible in order to remove any sawdust or debris. We treat all our wood to eliminate insects, mold, larvae and fungus; it is our duty to do that to respect our customers.

Our number one goal is to make you a happy customer. We know that mantels and this old wood last more than a lifetime.

Custom Orders - We work very hard with the customer to make sure everyone is on the same page prior to beginning any custom work required to complete the order. We strive to have good communication, respect, and good customer service; we treat our customers the way we would want to be treated.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards. Payment must be made prior to shipment.

Custom Orders: We begin work on a custom piece following payment.

Shipping

When an order comes in, it goes to the top of the priority list. Items ship in 1-3 days, but often we can ship "next day". We use Federal Express and SpeeDee Delivery.

Note: If we need to message/email you regarding an order prior packaging and shipping, and do not hear back from you within 24 hours, the order will ship - as we promise to ship in 1-3 business days. We will assume that you are okay with whatever our concerns were in seeking your input.

Regarding Shipping Of Long Mantels:

Mantels, when packed, that have a length that exceeds 96 inches ship Freight, which is more expensive that Home Delivery or Ground. If you need a mantel that is that long, please provide us with your zip code and we will get back to you with a shipping quote.

Please Note: If you are from Alaska, please provide us with your zip code so we can get you an accurate shipping quote.

International Shipping:

We are not shipping internationally at this time.

We can put any item ON HOLD for up to 24 hours. Just send us a quick message and we would be happy to!

If you purchase a mantel and need it cut down to a different length, we are happy to do that for you. Simply message us with that length when you purchase or send us a message. Please note, if you do not indicate to us which end you prefer to have cut off we will choose the best cut for you.

Each mounting/hanging application is different, I am not an expert in the installation process. To ensure a safe and secure install, please consult with a qualified contractor or handyman if you do not feel you can complete the hanging/mounting process yourself.
