Hefty Lake Superior Display Cribbing Beam. We just loved the look of this hefty piece and just had to do something special with it. This would make an beautiful art display piece or just let your own imagination go wild with it. This beam comes from the depths of Lake Superior. It's size tells one that it comes from a darn big old tree - and who knows how old it really is. It was a cribbing beam, attached to many other beams under water, used to prop up and stabilize the huge dock that held those big freighter ships as they came and went, port to port.
