$1,300.00

Calling this truly gorgeous gray hued - and very attractive old piece rustic would be an understatement. This one will be a real enjoyment for the stone contractor or talented do-it-yourselfer that loves a challenge, and they will have to tap into that passion and let their experience and creativity lead them as they work together the stone and the uneven elm wood that was made by an ax. I can imagine what that fireplace will look like when complete. Back in the 1800's, they cut this tree down, cause they wanted to make a barn; so they started forming the tree to make a beam - imagine the time and effort. This mantel beam comes an 1800's cattle barn that was located near the community of Princeton, Minnesota. Please click the photos for some close-ups of that incredible character like the mantel ends where there's a cool hole, insect holes and trails, ax marks, cracks, white wash markings, and those super knots; and that wonderful old growth patina. Crafted, then left natural and unsealed; it is ready to mount. This is the exact mantel you will receive and it's ready to ship.

Disclaimer: This is a very rustic piece and it is not straight. We took two photos from the ends to show you how it contours.

Dimensions at its widest points: 77" x 11" x 6-3/4". At one end it's about 9-1/2" deep, then it heads down to the other end - passing the ins, outs and sweet knots where it is about 9" deep.

Weight: 78 pounds.

Shipping: Out our door in 1-2 days.
