Extraordinary patina that gives a nod to those rustic characters: cracks, nail holes, the Doug fir knots, and sweet mantel ends - especially like the knots on one of the ends. Crafted, then left natural and unsealed; ready to hang as-is. This is an authentic old growth beam, not a newly milled timber made to look old and weathered; one that will eventually crack somewhere. The one in the photos is the one you will receive and it is ready to ship.
