Nice splashes of darks and lighter coloration on a very old piece with a host of rustic characters: knots, nail holes, saw marks, cracks and nice mantel ends. Such a solid and dense mantel, one that will be the focal point of any brick, tile, rock, wood-backed or cultured stone fireplace build. Comes from an early 1900's milking barn that had been located near Glencoe, Minnesota. After being crafted, we applied a penetrating oil to it, then sealed it with a protective finish. The mantel in the photos is the exact one you will receive and it is all ready to ship.
