A great looking mantel with a super front/face side contouring that is nicely balanced. This 1800's elm wood piece took the Minwax Jacobean stain so well. As either your fireplace mantel or an accent mantel this piece will be a real compliment to its surroundings - whether its intent is to flow or contrast with your décor. Crafted, stained with Jacobean color, then sealed with a light protective sealer that gave it a matte-look finish. Comes from an 1800's milking barn that was located near Belle Plaine, Minnesota. The mantel in the photos is the exact mantel you will receive, it's a real-deal old growth piece; nothing we weathered to look old.
